My love for teaching began at a young age.  As a role model at the South YMCA in Kettering, I taught children how to swim and stay safe in the water.  My favorite part was watching the children develop their skills and become confident in their abilities.  My career with the YMCA continues today and I have served in a variety of positions over the years.   

 

For over 9 years I have built relationships with the students in my classrooms and their families.  I offer my support and experience to my peers and appreciate positive feedback and ideas.  I have taught 1st, 4th and 5th grades.  The past 4 years in the classroom have been spent as a Gifted Intervention Specialist working with 4th, 5th and 6th grades in math and 4th grade reading.

I look forward to seeing what the next chapter in my life brings me!
